SubOut (“SubOut”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is a subtitle extractor app that detects and extracts hardcoded (burned-in) subtitles from videos fully on your device. We respect your privacy and are committed to keeping your data secure and private at all times.

SubOut does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data, video files, frames, or extracted subtitles.
All subtitle detection and text recognition are processed directly on your device. Nothing is uploaded or sent to any external server.
We may receive anonymous crash or performance reports automatically provided by Apple to help improve app reliability. These reports never contain personal or user-generated data.

3. How Your Data Is Used

All processing is handled locally on your device for the purpose of detecting and extracting subtitles from videos into editable subtitle files.
No user data is shared, stored, or used for advertising.
Anonymous diagnostic data, if provided by Apple, is used only to fix bugs and improve performance.

4. Third-Party Services

To manage purchases and verify entitlements, SubOut uses trusted third-party services:

RevenueCat to handle in-app purchases and verify entitlements.
Apple In-App Purchase to securely process payments through your Apple ID.

These services comply with Apple’s privacy and security standards and follow modern data protection practices.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

SubOut does not store or retain any of your videos, frames, or extracted subtitles on our servers.
All processing happens locally on your device, and any project data you save remains on your device until you delete it or remove the app.
Anonymous diagnostic data, if collected by Apple, is stored under Apple’s privacy policy and cannot identify you.

6. Your Rights

Since SubOut does not collect personal information, there is no personal data to access, modify, or delete.

7. International Data Transfers
